Two friends have spent the past two winters 'chasing' and photographing murmurations of starlings around Lough Ennell in Co Westmeath. Their evening walks have rewarded them with some spectacular images and much more besides.
The Irish National Seismic Network has confirmed a 2.5 magnitude earthquake occurred in Co Donegal during the early hours.
It says the 2.5M earthquake occurred just after 1:30am at a depth of approximately 5 km near Glenveagh National Park.
