    Well, that’s about the best compliment I’ve ever had. ☺️ I’m super-happy that uni profs like are really embracing great, research-based science pedagogy. Rigor and fun should be able to occupy the same space in all classes!

    We have to revolutionize science teaching. Students need opportunities to explain, analyze, and explore. Many urban schools lack the access to the tools to promote active learning. They need more resources and support to do what they know how to do.

    Michigan adopted a version of in 2015. Many districts still promote Bio-Chem-Phys triad, w/Geo as an afterthought. Meanwhile PFAS in groundwater to shoreline erosion, our state teems with real world geoscience problems. Can we really afford a “rocks for jocks” mentality?
