Hey guys! I'm here to inform you that the first snapshot build of 0.9.3-alpha is available on the site for those who have an access key! Now, for the compilation-addicted like me just build the branch 0.9.3-alpha at GitHub to get the updates! 😅

This article written by details how his amazing graphical query builder plug-in works in pgModeler. Worths the reading!!! Thanks Maxime for your dedication! I see that making pgModeler open source was the right decision! 😊👏👏

I was warned about a critical bug on 0.9.2 and decided to patch & rebuild that version. The bug consists in the inability of CLI to fix functions signatures. This causes models created in 0.9.1 never to load in 0.9.2 unless manual (error prone) fixes are done. Update is advised!

I'm really happy to announce the stable 0.9.2! Thanks everyone for contributing to the enhancement of the project. My special thanks goes to that w/ lots of effort & patience created the 1st plugin for the tool: a graphical query builder!

A new snapshot build is available for test by those who have access keys to download pgModeler's binaries. This one contains commits from November 06 until yesterday, including the data dictionary generation feature. Don't forget to give a feedback! 😄

The first preview of data dictionary generation in pgModeler is ready! Below a video showing this feature in action by using one of the pgModeler's sample models to create a complete DD. This feature is also supported by pgModeler's CLI! 😎😉

Hey guys! After tweaking a little bit the code generation that's what data dictionaries look like. There's the option to create a single file with all tables inside as well split the data dictionary into separated files each one related to a table. There's more to come! 😎

Raise a hand who wants data dictionary support in pgModeler? ✋ Yeah.. I'm already working on it! pgModeler 0.9.2 will feature data dictionaries for tables, views and foreign tables. This image is not a mockup but the 1st result of the new feature in action! Do you like it? 😄

Another tip is to use a source code management software to keep track of your models changes since .dbm files are SCM friendly (xml based).

Attention macOS users: In 0.9.1 in some situations pgModeler may behave wrongly and save a db model with 0 bytes or even filled w/ null chars. There's a fix under testing and I recommend you either to constantly make backups of your models or use the latest release (0.9.2-beta2)

Hey people! While I'm preparing 0.9.2 to its launching soon I'm starting to thinking of pgModeler 1.0. I have lots of plans to improve the UI but first I would like to renew all icons and logo do you know/recommend a person/service capable of doing this job? Thanks! 😄

A new snapshot build is available so you can test it. Note that this is a very unstable release and is intended to show a preview of what's coming to pgModeler. This release contains initial support to foreign tables. I'll be waiting your feedback!

... and attending to lots of requests from financial supporters I added the possibility to make one-time purchases (granting access keys that never expire). As a bonus those who opt for this payment modality can choose an extra platform to use pgModeler on! 😁
