1/ Our latest update this morning for IRAS / GGSE 4 shows a 12m miss distance, with a Probability of Collision (Pc) back to 1 in 100. Here is a plot of our last five days worth of miss distance updates on this event:pic.twitter.com/FCN2k2NL3i

'This is uncomfortably close': 2 defunct satellites orbiting Earth at about 1% risk of colliding today. A high speed collision would add possibly 1000 space debris pieces. https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/satellites-collision-1.5443434 …pic.twitter.com/ymFfYXNCD4

Kintail fireball orbit from last night place origins firmly from the asteroid belt. The initial mass was somewhere between a few to ten kilograms - softball sized. Not quite as bright as the full moon.

Fireball started near Brussels and ended just offshore over Lake Huron near Kintail. Low velocity (~15 km/s) and end height (33 km) suggest small meteorites may have landed, likely in Lake Huron.

CMOR detection of 100+ Draconid orbits yesterday (radiant at top of plot). Shower intensity slightly more than 1/2 of 2018, very rich in small (sub-visual) particles.
