The Schroedinger equation - basically Newton's laws at the atomic scale - have been known for almost 100 years. But the equations are impossible to solve in closed form for anything more complicated than a hydrogen atom.

This looks really cool. I haven't been this excited about reading a paper for a while. If your results and methods are good, then there are a lot of really interesting areas in quantum information science to apply this too!
