Car jacking at the Exxon at Kansas & Georgia Ave this morning at 11am. Two men with handguns approached a person at the station & took his property and car. Thankfully the victim is ok but wow.

On a sad note, we learned from NPS that they plan on removing the Grant Circle playground equipment in the very near future. There is not an immediate plan for a replacement and NPS estimates it’ll cost between $800,000-$1.1 million to replace!
