I talked to Red Cross workers at the Neighborhood church personally. They said best thing to do is donate money (which I didn’t like) but I know they currently need blankets and pillows
-
My problem is I live in SoCal so I'm hoping anyone from here knows if an organisation will be transporting goods
imo don't really trust how the Red Cross handles funds
-
Yeah, I was surprised when they said to just donate $... they did say when they close shelters they end up throwing away or donating back lots of clothes. I would wait a couple of days and look for what needs are being asked for at that time. Ppl are mostly looking for housing rn

Supplies to shelters - bottled water, diapers, blankets

See I live in SoCal so it'd be quite a distance, unless there's a registry going on?
-
I'd say donations to the Red Cross would be most effective - or waiting until after when there's an organized effort set up for those who have lost everything.
