    Great question for anyone, but especially for those who find themselves always agreeing with the left in twitter debates. If you don't think and are too far left on at least some issues, how much further left would you go?

    This may have been explored, but I haven’t seen it and it is an important question. Q: If you consider yourself politically progressive or left of center, what is the most conservative thing that is “Too far left” for you? Where is the first place that “Too far left” begins? 🙏

    This thread does a pretty good job of explaining why I'm constantly pointing out how stupid people I mostly agree with are.

    It's just occurred to me that the reason why various traits I like in people are negatively correlated is because I ignore people who have no traits I like, and Berkson's paradox rules everything around me.

    This has to be up there among worst takes ever.

    “Analytics” is thin code for racism, classism. I don’t see a system more successful than any other in terms of orthodoxy, but I do see a change in who has control, who gets jobs and what qualifications are now required. No Ivy means you will not be allowed to evaluate baseball.
