. version 11 will support building B-Tree indexes in parallel. Testing shows that parallel builds are often 3x faster than serial builds.

We now have solid equivalents to most of the "Enterprise Edition" features that proprietary systems offer at a massive premium. I can think of one or two exceptions, like incremental backup, but it's very close.
Agreed. And we are improving overall on the user interfaces to support a infrastructure as well, which should only further help adoption.
