Does anyone have any horror stories about pg_repack to share? I'm thinking about running it LIVE (after checking it on staging of course).

No, but did you know that it can kill other backends if it needs to to do the equivalent of a relfilenode swap?

The fact that the documentation doesn't prominently mention that is what is really scary, IMV.
