Just did 'rm *' in ~/ by mistake, again :-/ Probably should start doing backups. Can recommend cloud backups, encrypted, reasonably priced?

zsh is pretty good at preventing things like that from happening in the first place

Ah, makes sense. Well, I guess backups are useful anyway, although I'm surprised how little annoyance the "rm *" caused.

I do both. zsh seems to have a better, albeit more complicated design. It avoids outcomes like that without being annoying.
