nothing has changed in my view. We still use UUIDs extensively! Perhaps @geoghegan86 might have more insight Hey @geoghegan86, anything I should be wary of using UUIDs as primary keys? E.g. performance hit for PKs not being sequential? /cc int4s are 4 bytes. UUIDs are 16 bytes. With alignment, UUID non-composite PKs "only" twice as large. Use judiciously, IMV.
