Not that I didn't know about it before. I saw it many times during my 17+ years of using Postgres. However, I never thought we'll reach it in near future.

Does this change/increase with partitioning? (max 32 TiB per partition?)

That's right, max 32 TiB per partition
Nice, at terabyte (and petabyte) scale, you'd sure use partitioning anyway, so the practical limit for a partitioned table is much higher.

yes but large multi-TB relational databases are [generally] a recipe for finding the sharp edges. works but often requires expensive/expert staff. sharding across DBs can help orgs scale further before they have to cross the bridge #happinesshint
