I wish CS papers would include the date of publication prominently in the header.

I find that you can figure it out fairly reliably by searching dblp.dagstuhl.de. This is also useful when managing duplicative papers with almost the same name, all from the same author. (This trend seems related to the "publish or perish" culture in modern academia.)

Yea, I usually can figure it out somehow, but it's annoying to have to look elsewhere just to situate the claims in the abstract / graphs in a context.
