On a serious note, I have 3 questions: 1) is it ok if Core Team dictates the definition of Community and where communication happens 2) can we continue chatting, twitting, zooming, youtubing -- and still be considered as part of Community? 3) what is Community?

I had a really good time on Postgres TV. I enjoyed the recent Franck Pachot episode among others. I hope that there are more episodes in the future. What do the core team have to do with it, though? What accommodation should the core team (or somebody else) make?

I like to think that spaces which respect the PG CoC, the community guidelines, and the core team, with moderators to address any issues, are the ones to list on .Org. Such policies can be added to/improved on, of course, and I’ve had succes doing so working with core.

I couldn’t say with personal insight (not on core), but I would say that core has been quite receptive when asked and when folks have been willing to openly work with them. I’d encourage youtube channel operators to work with core to define a policy and choose moderators.
