As a normal 600+ in person event? Extremely low I'd say.

Peter, any ideas how this "something else" could look like? Or do you only prefer in-person events?

No idea. I would love to go to an in-person event, but that may not be realistic, even in ~October. Of course it is not strictly a public health issue. Most people want a high degree of confidence that the event will actually go ahead as planned when they book (months earlier).
I am very good with not seeing in person if that helps influence any of the decision 😉

Pretty sure hotels and airlines are going to be open to cancelling in the future.

I agree that few travelers will be willing to accept the risks well into 2021, and it's a buyer's market now -- it follows that hotels/airlines must accept cancellation risks. But (unsurprisingly), I have no idea if the same dynamic helps the organizers of events like dot EU.
