This is a summary of my latest round of benchmarks. For the first time I included Postgres and enjoyed learning more about it. I also like that Postgres does a great job of avoiding CPU regressions over time.

Really enjoyed your work on this! If you ever do find any significant issues with Postgres, please don't hesitate to take them to the pgsql-hackers mailing list as well. The ML culture is very open -- we welcome criticism. It's a necessary part of improving the system IMV.

I appreciate the answers from you and a few other PG experts. My benchmark scripts now support PG, so I will revisit this, eventually.
