Open Source governance should be as value-driven as open source itself is.
It would be hypocritical to promote the open source freedoms while at the same time having governance of open source projects that is not transparent, democratic and accountable.

What role do you see for yourself in this new order? If you're going to loudly advocate for radical change, then I think that we all deserve to know.

I don't think I'm of importance here. Others are much more than I am.
But I'd just continue bringing ideas, hopefully vision too, contribute software, do Community work, and continue improving Postgres World.
Applying critical thinking, and avoiding staying in a comfort zone.

The company I founded does obviously pay me a salary. This salary and itself are the only economic interest I have in PostgreSQL. And they will hopefully be for the rest of my career.
If you are asking if I personally expect something out of this: 100x NO. Ever.

This may be a nimble example, but I don't get paid by Fundación PostgreSQL. Nor I will be.
I however donated 30K€ of my pocket to found it.

Isn't that the organization whose charter makes you president, as well as a life long member? Doesn't seem terribly democratic to me.
