Part review, part police-beat writeup? I didn’t see craziness in the crowd — was focused on the stage. They opened w “Oh Carol” in a slow grind that set the mood. Unlike ‘65 in DC, when they slammed thru a short set, partly drowned out by screaming, & bolted for the exit.

BB King’s set in Baltimore, opening for the Stones 1969. He blew them away. I’m still in awe.

When Harry & Bess Truman left the White House, a single Secret Service agent drove them to Union Station & walked them to the platform. The Trumans boarded the train. The agent didn’t.

We are in a horrible leadership vacuum at this moment. These people are criminals. They need to be arrested. We have demonstrators now in both House and Senate chambers. Lawmakers literally at an undisclosed location. DC is under seige.

Meanwhile, in other Trump criminal-reform news: He pardoned Jared Kushner’s father Charles. It’s an only-in-NJ tale of high-dollar politics, intra-family fighting, a prostitute, video & Chris Christie.

Retweeting this (a) for the stunningly sleazy details of Hunter’s corruption & (b) to note that Trump didn’t bother to pardon Hunter’s ex-wife, who pleaded to the same offense.

Been thinking about a Hamilton quote re: public credit all day. Apply it to democracy & see what happens. Democracy is an entire thing. Wound one limb & the whole tree shrinks & decays. Watching folks try to stop election results from being certified: one of MANY wounded limbs
