It does seem like people didn’t stick with 10.1 or 10.4 as long. Doesn’t seem to all be 32-bit Mac’s, either.
The number of emails I get from people still on 10.6 or 10.7 is a rather disturbing indication that Apple is failing somewhere.

@peternlewis I get those too, but mostly from folks with older Macs incompatible with newer OS X versions. -
@peternlewis My little mail server (an old MacMini) is still running 10.4. And doing great :) -
@peternlewis My 10.6 & 10.7 machines are ones that can't upgrade (MacBook 3,1). But my Dad has 10.6 because he dislikes Mavericks/El Cap... -
@peternlewis And honestly, why fix it if it ain't broke? I wouldn't upgrade much either if I didn't have to develop for new versions.
