@petermaurer Since much of the focus seems to be on teams, it's probably not just because of the MAS.
I wonder if TextExpander's switch to subscription-only could have been avoided if Apple hadn't sandboxed utilities out of the app store.

@mcelhearn Agreed. But the option to stay there could have meant keeping a non-sync pay-once amateur version around. -
@petermaurer Is it not possible for them to stay on the MAS? Has something changed (again) recently? -
@mcelhearn Nope, still the same: They can't do significant updates, which makes something along the lines of TE 6 Light impossible.

@petermaurer iCloud Sync does not fit my problem and I pretend Apple forbids me to use or develop something else because I'm too lazy. -
@petermaurer Apple is not pre-chewing the work for them well enough. Core Data does not fit a problem it was not designed to solve. -
