Peter Hartlaub Retweeted 🍂Mizzi 🦃

This is a deep cut for #TotalSF listeners. When we asked Kopp his favorite burrito place he dismissively said he doesn’t eat burritos so we all agreed to put him down for Westlake Joe’s.https://twitter.com/Ethan_Mizzi/status/1428080549311107078 …Peter Hartlaub added,

Maybe 1/2 the responses are fury over
@chesaboudin’s pick. (Another 40% over the popularity of Gordo’s.) I’m fairness, he chose Hook over a year ago in a podcast, and was supporting a small biz close to his home. (I may still make fun, but will try their seafood burrito first.)https://twitter.com/mlroach/status/1428052895602069512 …Peter Hartlaub added,

Replying to @peterhartlaub @chesaboudin
I was trying to be funny on it, for what it's worth, and clearly failed! I think their burrito *is* great, and was trying to echo the meme over something that is not impactful.

Lots of people said similar things. Didn’t intend to call you out for scorn. Just wanted to clarify the context & Boudin didn’t pick it in a vacuum. (Another mitigating factor: We asked “Where’s your favorite place to get a burrito,” not “Which taqueria has the best burrito.”)
