I'm not saying nothing good happens. What I'm arguing is that incrementalism and status quo politics ultimately leads to MORE injustice and inequality. Just look around you. We've moved to the right as a nation. And people are dying because of it.

Because the party doesn’t back progressives. The party sides with moderates, because the Democrats of the 21st century have become the Republicans of the late 20th century, doing all they can to protect and maintain the status quo, even as it shifts under their feet.
