    There is nothing extreme about wanting everyone to have health care and education, preventing the planet from warming up, or making sure our government doesn’t rip kids from their moms. Only in DC are those ideas “far left.” They are actually very reasonable and popular!

        Can you imagine what would be said about New Deal proposals were they only brought up now? Social Security, Medicare, guaranteed 40 work weeks, paid time off, massive work projects putting 100K+ people to work building up the infrastructure, support for the arts? FAR LEFT? Nah.
