Pelosi is worth more than $100 MILLION. It's obscene.

For those feigning anger at the bill name, Pelosi Act, remember this: Nancy Pelosi got rich on insider trading & refused to bring a ban stock trading bill up for a vote last session. Congress should not be able to trade on inside information damnit.

Months ago I said that having previously worked alongside several Biden senior staffers, I wasn't confident they'd handle the #Ukraine crisis well. I stand by that statement.

Flying is a bellwether for how society views the climate crisis. If the aviation industry is growing, it means we're still not taking global heating seriously. As soon as society shifts into some kind of emergency mode, policies to rein in flying WILL be put in place.

Landed in the U.S. after being out of the country for a month. As I opened up twitter, the news of a mass shooting in Monterey Park was all over my timeline. No other country in the world has this disease. What a violent nation we live in. Prayers for the victims.

Also, both Trump and Biden horribly mismanaged the #Covid pandemic.

In 2020, after 220,000 COVID-19 deaths, Biden said "anyone responsible for that many deaths should not remain President." In 2023, after over 1 million COVID-19 deaths, Biden said "I stopped thinking about it."

United States government official

220,000 deaths.

If you hear nothing else I say tonight, hear this: Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain President of the United States.
THE PRESIDENT:

The need for — I mean, look at what’s happened. And I think we — I sometimes underestimate it because I stopped thinking about it, but I’m sure you don’t: We lost 1 — over 1 million people in several years to COVID.

TRUMP should never have been president. BIDEN should never have been president. Both should have been disqualified for their multiple sexual misconduct accusations (Trump 24+, Biden 8+). Not to mention mishandling classified documents...

Everytime someone says “but 99% of people who get covid don’t die” I really wonder what their lives are like. Would you get on an airplane that advertised “99% of passengers survive the flight!”? Would you eat at a restaurant where “99% of customers dont die from our food!”?

A French friend told me that why they mobilize like this is because they are networked. We are busy fighting over podcasters instead 😑

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, is trying to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64. So the eight biggest unions across the country called a massive wave of strikes and protests today, with over 200 actions across the country.
