    This isn't necessarily true. Some -ers fight injustices both inside and out of school walls. Some don't particularly care. Some don't even care if there are injustices against Black kids within school walls - if those schools are private, charter, or suburban.

    Ed reformers fight injustice all the time. I’m proud to stand with you. And I hope my friends stand with me to fight injustice done to children inside and outside our movement.

    The Kentucky Derby decision was not a good one. It was a rough & tumble race on a wet and sloppy track, actually, a beautiful thing to watch. Only in these days of political correctness could such an overturn occur. The best horse did NOT win the Kentucky Derby - not even close!

    The reform world has been retweeting excitedly about the 3 NAACP locals breaking with the national on charters but you have not been retweeting this story...your lack of consistency about kids of color is revealing and beyond appealing

    A Black student at a Mississippi high school says she wasn’t named student salutatorian despite having a higher grade point avg. than the white student selected. The school dist. was only desegregated in 2017. She told it cost her a scholarship. So she’s suing.
