You can still see the Sun logo on the back of the Facebook sign. A sort of memento mori, or it would be if anyone in Silicon Valley know what that was.

they turned the Sun sign around and wrote Facebook on the front as "recycling"

When I visited the sign last year it was to have my picture taken with the back, rather than the front(!)
For all their faults, I miss Sun. -
