Every day I feel bad for the National Archives employees who have to document, save, and file all these "presidential statements" forever. Also writers of history books. And us; I feel bad for all of us, just having to endure it.

Peter, WADR, he has been saying outrageous things for three years now. Media called him "unorthodox" and "unique" and "a straight shooter" for most of that time. Unless you're ready to call him a liar, FINALLY, you get an eye roll.

My disgust is not with the media. It's with my fellow Americans who looked at a grifter and con-man and thought "Oh good. He'll be a great President!" The rest of us didn't need the media to see there was a problem.

Oh, I have plenty of disgust to go around. The media did a horrible job framing issues and turned it into a personality war. But, yes, the low-IQ voters did their part, too.
