These are United 737s we saw in long-term storage in June at Dulles International Airport— though not necessarily airplanes that had problems.

This airworthiness directive is HUGE. The FAA says it affects 2,000 U.S.-registered 737s which have sat idle for more than a week. The FAA says in-flight failures of BOTH engines "could be linked to periods of inactivity due to the COVID-19 public health emergency."pic.twitter.com/dgQVUHQXzu

Had a similar issue with my ‘77 Honda GoldWing. Bringing it out of seasonal storage was always troublesome. The last straw was that Spring when the shifting fork had trouble shuttling betw 1st & 2nd gear until the revs dropped below 800.

Except you bike just won't start. At worst your bike MIGHT have careened out of control injuring you and someone else. The planes however.......woooo weeee!

Same as cars when someone parked for too long like snowbirds left their cars in Florida.
