this honestly sounds like you're saying women and chicken are the same. Shall we give them voting rights too?
-
-
-
Chickens don't need the right to vote, they need equal consideration of their interests.
-
if chickens were not a source of food, they would have become extinct long ago.
-
I'm sure the chickens living in constant fear & pain until they're slaughtered at 6 months would have preferred not being born.
-
-
Yes, they absolutely do feel pain, fear & suffering just like all sentient beings do. There's no excuse:http://www.meat.org

Curious about your views on abortion...but meanwhile, animal= one of the lower animals as distinguished from human beings
-
We have no official stance on abortion.http://www.peta.org/about-peta/faq/what-is-petas-stance-on-abortion/ …

People do not care about animals they eat but they might care about the environmental damage of the meat industry. Try a new approach.
-
People go vegan for many reasons. All approaches are needed!
-
wasn't Hitler vegan? I wonder what his reasons were.
-
there are dozens of sources that say he was a vegetarian. And unlike you, that aren't asking for donations. You may be a little biased

Did u just compare a chicken to a woman or...?
-
Or did we just point out that chicken shouldn't be discriminated against? (Hint: it was the latter)
-
How, pray tell, does one discriminate against a chicken? Is it based on race, sex, height, gender identification?
-
Humans in the US forcibly breed and slaughter 9 BILLION chickens every year. If we did that to dogs you would be outraged.
-
But millions of dogs are held captive against their will in US households every year! Where is your outrage about that?!

@joshtweeterson Isn't not including chicken on your dinner plate considered discrimination? -
No, deciding that you have the right to torture and kill them for your passing pleasure is though.http://www.meat.org
-
Just induce a coma into them before they are sentient, grow them, and then eat them. No suffering, no torture. Win for all.
-
We're thinking something more along these lines: http://www.peta.org/blog/taste-testers-love-first-bite-lab-grown-meat/ … In the meantime, we should all stop eating animals though
-
no problems with testing on humans though?
-
I was being facetious.
