Day 2. It rained again by the bridge. I threw a rock to see if the serpent would wake. No response from the eater of moons that slumbers beneath the murky river. I have yet to convince it to partake of my body no matter how much I soak up the moonlight. Maybe tomorrow. #bacounawa
Her hair glistened from purple to burnt orange as I confessed that humans could not change their bodies at will. She tugged on my chains as she beckoned me closer. Her glare softened as her curiosity grew. "What can you do then," she asked me. I couldn't give a reply.

Last week, writing from the perspectives for pre-established characters from the Bible felt daring at best, cookie-cutter at worst. It felt like a cheat to write, honestly. This week, will try something different and go with some original ideas, more like snippets.
