    Between his work for the Ohio SoS, the Election Assistance Commission and most recently, for CISA, nobody has more experience securing elections than . Very proud to have him join to help figure out the future of election security and disinformation.

    News: Matt Masterson, a top election security official at CISA, is leaving the administration at the end of next week for a job outside govt, people familiar with the matter tell me. His departure comes just weeks after CISA Director Chris Krebs was fired by the president.

    Pretty remarkable that the safe harbor deadline of the Electoral Count Act of 1887 is now critically relevant to a change in content moderation practices 133 years later at YouTube...

    1/ Our goal this election was to connect people to authoritative info, limit harmful misinfo & remove violative content. Subsequently, authoritative news was widely watched & recommended, and since Sept, we removed 8K+ channels for violating our policies.

    This man & his former team are heroes. In 4 yrs, they worked tirelessly w/ all states to bolster the security of our elections systems. Most people get raises when they exceed expectations but he got fired because he has integrity.
