    2019 is the International Year of Indigenous Languages. Language is central to our identity, cultures, ceremonies, songs and stories. Every Indigenous language in this country is in danger of extinction. Help keep our languages alive.

  15. Very sad to learn of the tragic loss of Braiden Jacob from Webequie. We thank the searchers & send prayers to his family & community. There must be a full investigation & action to prevent similar tragedies.

  20. Today I’m in Montreal at the First Ministers Meeting to discuss ’ priorities on the economy and trade. I spoke about the need for meaningful involvement of First Nations in business, procurement, and trade.
