Dont forget that burning teldrassil was HIS backup plan, plus betraying his warchief and killing fellow horde all for the sake of the enemy, I'm pretty sure that's enough to be labeled as a traitor in any setting

Darkshore was his operation. He planned it and he lead it. He also single-handedly sabotaged it making all the lives lost for nothing and causing thousands of more deaths. All cause he was pee-pee mad that he didn't get to 1v1 Malfurion in the middle of a battle.
