I do a lot of long distance walks through Brooklyn and have noticed quite a few large empty parking lots - maybe do laps and sprints in those instead of running around pedestrian streets?

Well. "The study did not look at coronavirus particles specifically or how they are carried in respiratory droplets in real-life conditions. Nor does it prove or even suggest that infection risks rise if you do wind up temporarily strolling behind a panting runner."

You’d think they would WANT TO run around things, make more space - doesn’t it mean they are running farther ultimately by not running the most direct route

saw a pair of self-absorbed knobs running together yesterday in such a state of urgency that they nearly got hit by the only car for miles as they crossed the street.

Yesterday my kid went outside for the 1st time in a week to draw a rainbow on the sidewalk for the guy who was going to deliver our groceries & a runner ran right through - almost kicking her in the head & sending her chalk flying everywhere. Didn't even slow his stride. So yeah.

I must fall into the other 40%. I go out of my way to avoid pedestrians...I have only seen 1 person move for me. Everyone needs to be considerate right now.
