People are always grumpy, but it would be interesting to see a psych study on the impact of divisiveness in bfa, affecting how we interact.

Ugh, again, totally agree, and I wonder how much thought goes into this! All this talk about devs being "disconnected," and while I don't always agree, if they see all this "engagement" as a good thing, that truly is disconnection!
-
well the devs aren’t marketing. But yeah I wonder if they realized implications of encouraging one half to hate the other.

It's a pattern I think they'll just do with every expansion now. Some kind of loss on both sides that make people talk. Using "lore" as a marketing tool of some kind. Regardless of whether that makes sense or not. Seriously, why was Vol'jin killed again?

Some people obviously take it waaaaaay too far but I don’t know if that’s necessarily a bad thing. While I love all the extremely powerful cosmic enemies, idk how much that attracts the majority of people. Players seem A LOT more engaged with the story in BfA than previously.
-
Some divisiveness amongst players but also passion for the story I think might be better than apathy which cosmic entities bring by and large.

I find it part of the fun, I don't *actually* hate Alliance players, but when I met one at work he saw my Horde tattoo, gave me a high five, told me he mains a gnome and I made a big show of reaching for the hand sanitizer. He thought it was funny lol
