Is anyone else as unconvinced as I am that CRDTs and/or replicated event logs will guide us to the promised land?

I think then the killer framework will let a family of CRDTs coexist as a part of the state tree/graph of some interesting reactive shared application, and the CRDT part relieves the server of coordination/score-keeping.

But it could be even simpler like tracking highly interactive UI state machines that you’d like to distribute for some reason. Collaborative shopping lists at the store or something.
