it's impressive to me that most tech companies have any employees. how do you recruit people without them falling asleep during your pitch? do you just put a pen in their hand and line up the hire letter before you bore them to sleep, and hope for the best?

tbc this is not about "boring tech", of which I am a fan. this is about boring tech people finding boring ways of squeezing money out of market problems and then insisting on telling other people about it
