I'm going to try to spotlight good experiences with software development more often. It's a shame that working, reliable code often goes completely unnoticed. Discussions about brokenness tend to increase the visibility of bad software, accidentally increasing popularity!

Yes! Postgres is consistently excellent. It never gives me any problems. If I had to complain, it would be about the baroque, 1974 language syntax, but that's really not their fault. More people should use Postgres and only Postgres, instead of crazy "big data" overkill.
