The thing that I love about the show is the vulnerability and tenderness in each of the protagonist characters. Hell, sometimes even the antagonists.

The music is great. I find myself humming it. I should just buy the vinyl.

The humor is quick, layered, and unpredictable.

The humor doesn’t belittle or demean other people. There’s so many cartoons out there that resort to this, and they really don’t need to.

In case you haven't seen it: I'm watching sense8 now, and while it's more violent and less funny than Stephen Universe, it's a story that emphasizes togetherness, vulnerability, and active friendship in a touching way.
