I just got a message from Pinterest that they removed my Vaccine Information board because it promoted self harm. WHAT? It promoted vaccines. It was a page on which I saved great pro-vaccine articles. How does that promote self harm? I smell an antivaxer reporting. #vaccinesworkpic.twitter.com/Ct04U3tQCk

I found another email. It looks like it started with one pin. @Pinterest @pinterestbiz do you see this? Are you going to let this policy stand? I promote vaccines. That's a good thing. #vaccineswork I also submitted to the Help Center. Let's see if you can resolve this.pic.twitter.com/8nyUYbOGYz

Boo @Pinterest, you need to actually read the boards before banning them! #novaccineforstupidity

I hope to share that @pinterestbiz and @Pinterest review their policy and reinstate my board. I agree that they should not allow things that promote self harm, but they should actually LOOK at what people report. This board had no questionable information - unless you're antivax.

@Pinterest Oops!? I'm sure you made an innocent mistake in asking a MEDICAL DOCTOR to remove her promotion of VACCINES, which work to SAVE LIVES. I feel confident you will make this right.@Pinterest is such a great site for #parents. Thank you! @aafp @CDCgov @FDA_Drug_Info
