And also, @fsf, while we're at it, lemme let you in on something else:
Your refusal to part ways with him - despite well-known incidents that have pushed women & others out of free software for decades - might have been ok 10 years ago. Maybe even 2 years ago.
It's not ok now.

I’m all ears. So did something happen to you, or someone you know? Does it have substance, or it is the twitter version of high school gossip? Facts are required, not innuendo.

You clearly don't follow many women in technology, do you? Suggestion - follow some, you'll hear more evidence than you'll ever need.

I do listen, but when I talk to friends in law enforcement, they shrug off slanderous things that people say on Twitter. If something actually happens, the proper thing to do is to report it, so that it can be investigated by professionals.

You *so* don't get it, do you? Just this discussion is an example of what women face when dealing with organizations that don't take them seriously. The barriers to "reporting" are high - some face it, most throw up their hands, distance themselves, and their career suffers.

`I listen to women, but I trust men in law enforcement more even though up to 40% of law enforcement officers are domestic violence perpetrators and we should totally believe them.` ugh ugh ugh
