Bullshit. Tweeting should be governed by same rules as face-to-face interaction. If rules wouldn’t allow tou to treat a colleague in department the way you treat an academic on Twitter, someone should talk to you.https://twitter.com/aetiology/status/1151582857795645442 …

Oh, bloody hell, you can't be serious. For one thing, that's not what Tara was talking about. She was talking about harassment by antivaxers, anti-GMO, etc., whose go-to move is to harass academics at their jobs. Very disappointing.

She wasn’t being harassed. She cried wolf! She just didn’t like being called out on a subject matter that she knew nothing about after pretending that she did. And said topic had nothing to do with anti-vax or anti-anything. She lied, got caught, and was told about it. Nicely.

It sure didn't look that way to me. You basically made a not-so-subtle threat to report
@aetiology to her dean. Not cool.pic.twitter.com/jUWhBJI83U

Not at all. She got caught on Twitter talking about things she had no knowledge of. I told her. She got all pissy. I privately emailed her with some good & polite advice. She then lied. I posted that notice AFTER she lied about me. Y’all just don’t like being called out.
