There’s a biblical difference between circumcision and FGM. We should not equate the two as being the same kind of mutilation when one was once commanded by God as the sign of the covenant. For that reason alone, governments have no authority to outlaw circumcision.

How are you certain that it was actually God that commanded severing functional anatomy from a healthy non-consenting person's genitals and not Satan?

Anyone who seriously believes that the creator of the universe one day backtracked on a whim, and said "Cut your dicks up" is an idiot. That's human tribal shit, why should a "god" care about such things?

It's a psychological technique and loyalty test to ensure compliance and group cohesion. If one can convince others to believe that forced genital cutting is a command from above, they could get them to believe almost anything else.

It's sad that even after all this time, people are so weak-willed that they buy this crap. I mean, mutilating kids, then training them to be GRATEFUL for it? That's basically two kinds of child abuse.

Its even more sad that Christians think this is a CHRISTIAN practice!!! Removing the necessity of circumcision was one of jesus great reforms that led to christianity!!!
