No national medical organizations recommend routine child circumcision. Here's a sample of opinions.pic.twitter.com/0U2E37lRti

"in the context of not only health considerations, but also other social, cultural, ethical, and religious factors." You need to think about this for a few minutes. Also, Brian Morris' article? Don't make me laugh.

I'm aware of the social, cultural et al. Which isnt what I spoke of. Medical benefits include: reduction of UTIs, HIV, STIs, penile cancer etc. Outside of the actual real problem when foreskin doesnt retract properly. There are still actual benefits to MC.

my sons thanked me for the circumcision. while those were part of my decision, the main driver was the genetic component to non-retractable foreskins. It has happened enough times in my family line to know i didn't want my kids gettin cut when they would REMEMBER it.

In other parts of hte world fewer than 2% of men will ever need a circumcision. I highly doubt you are in that 2%. and even so non-retractable foreskin can usually be cured with stretching.
