Because you don't remember anything from when you were born. What if you later learned after they savagely chopped part of your dick off that there are thousands of nerve endings there & there are plenty of functions for the piece of the skin they cut off?https://twitter.com/GregOlson91/status/1195426939147825153 …

This argument could be applied to the umbilical cord. There's a good reason to cut both!

No it can't. FGM isn't practiced for sanitation. It's practiced to ensure women do not have sexual gratification, and its performed during a ritual on girls around the age of 9-12.

circumcision became popular in the US because it lowers male sexual pleasure and John Harvey Kellogg wanted to stop men from masturbating. all claims of ""sanitation"" came later, to justify mutilating children so they wouldn't play with themselves. maybe do some actual research

America adopted circumcision in the 19th century because Victorian doctors found circumcision prevents disease. Epidemiologists like Dr. Jennifer Robinson, continue to find evidence that it prevents disease & infections such as penile cancer. You're welcome!

Then why are the healthiest countries in the world the ones that DON'T CIRCUMCISE

Are you basing overall health on rates of circumcision? That's a huge stretch. RE: healthy penises, Brazil has a very low circumcision rate, 7.8%, and they also have the highest penile cancer rate in the world. Europe also has double the rate of the US.

Penile cancer is one the rarest forms of cancer in the world- even rarer than male breast cancer- and evidence from non-mutilating countries such as Denmark and Finland have shown that there is very little connection between penile cancer and circumcision status, if any.

And yet Denmark has a higher rate of penile cancer than the US. Penile cancer is on of many preventable diseases via circumcision.

That's not an opinion, that's an objective fact.
