Please get serious and stop trying to score points. We are talking about the sexual mutilation of children.

Great. Let's get serious then. Your 'I've lived in America, . . . most don't support bodily autonomy' What was that? A joke? Cause it sucked

We have a male sexual mutilation rate over 50% and we're regularly altering intersex children's genitals to match an imaginary binary. Yes, we have a problem with autonomy.

That's not what you said. You said you know for a FACT 'most Americans don't support bodily autonomy'. Which is a completely ridiculous statement. Get real.

Regardless of what they say on twitter, the facts are in how they treat their children. Circumcision violates bodily autonomy.

We obviously won't get anywhere with this, but I will say: The whole 'feminists don't support bodily autonomy!' and equaling circumcision to FGM is NOT how anti-circumcision activists will succeed. Unfortunately, it seems the only way you want to go about it.

Thats EXACTLY how it will get banned. Your opposition to this tactic comes from your presumption that fgm and mgm are not equal abuses. And they absolutely are

NOPE. Will not get banned that way. If it was going to, it would be already. FGM and circumcision are absolutely not comparable. That you claim they are shows your lack of intelligence. BUH-BYE.

Which part of female anatomy can parents ask a doctor to amputate? I want to know so I can know what to compare circumcision to.

Why do you need to compare circumcision to anything? If something is wrong, it's wrong. The need to berate feminists and make comparisons is what holds back your activism in the first place.

Circumcision needs to be compared to FGM because USA society is culturally blind. Even a pinprick of a girls genitals is, rightly, called FGM, whereas compkete removal of the foreskin is allowed. The comparison is done for basic ethical reasonspic.twitter.com/MR4qij7Djn
