I guess more than few will have personal experiences that inform their behaviour. It’s a pretty random thing to be up in arms about otherwise. Unless there are more nefarious reasons, such as stirring up anti Muslim/ Jewish sentiment.

Many of them are firmly anti Semitic. Others are simply crazy and call it sexual abuse, pedophilia, and “sexual torture.” They call you a hypocrite if you’re against fgm. And even men who’ve been snipped will claim they’re a victim of child abuse. It’s all very demented.

Great letter. As a Jew myself I 100% support that. Screaming "anti-Semitism" as a censorship tool when people raise valid arguments that we can't address with reasoned counter-arguments, is a very bad look. I advocate

I am sorry if you feel you were robbed of your foreskin. Most of us men could care less, a mountain out of a molehill. Incomparable to FGM. Personally I’m delighted. If I still had mine, they would have to invent a new unit of time to measure how fast my love making took.

Our point is it should simply be each man's choice to decide for himself. If you cut someone at birth and they grow up to hate it, it's irreversible, so they're screwed. But a man left intact ALWAYS has the choice as an adult to do it anytime, if he's "delighted" by the idea.

Dear
@NimkoAli You are marvellous. I understand that male ritual circumcision cannot be consented to by an infant and therefore raises an ethical question. I believe that the FGM fight is being hijacked. I do not believe that FGM and circumcision are similar. What do u think?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Most practices that are considered fgm in the west (even a pin prick) are much less invasive than mgm. The issue in both cases is the removal or damage of sexual tissue without the consent of the individual. There is undermining by those who would like to practice fgm...

The argiuement is «if your cultursl practice (mgm) is allowed, ours (fgm) should be as well» its a valid point. The opposite is «if fgm is not allowed, neither should mgm» thats my position. EVERYONE deserves choices over their own body. It should be that simple.
