Circumcision is genital mutilation and a human rights abuse. Norway iceland and getmany have tried to banit, and many other countries consider it unethical. Its a basic human rights issue which you seem all to willing to trivialize.

Iceland germany and norway have all tried bans. In finland you’ll find less than 2% will ever need it done in their lifetime. All the US historical figures pre-1950 were most likely not circd. Wake up

Nicole, we agree on female circumcision. We disagree on male circumcision. I am trained not only in analysising data and evidence from medical studies, but have also performed the operation on adults when working in urology. I am fully awake, thank you for your condescension.

And how much money do you make performing this unneccesary «operation». Your acceptance of the harms of fgm but not of mgm is blatent cultural blindness and sexism.

Well, for those men who can’t pass water due to frenular attachments of their foreskin to their glans and growing over their urethra, I’d say it’s pretty necessary. Also those who develop a pin hole foreskin. I work for the NHS so I don’t get paid by case, but by need.

Sorry i didn’t see that you only perform on adults. Thats fine. Those cases are medically neccesary and the choice of the patient. I’m fighting the routine circ of children which is rampant in the US

1/ I no longer perform true urological procedures, I am a general and colorectal surgeon. There is still good evidence that circumcision has health benefits. Do you really believe that in a country with such a horrific health service as the USA, which is the most litigious in

Thats the issue. Circ has been trivialized as a snip of skin which it is certsinly not
