Yeah, I know, the non-therapeutic amputation of the foreskin of young boys is an uncomfortable topic for many people. My hope is that it gets outlawed everywhere.

Actually it's already illegal to perform a vasectomy on people who have not given consent, but I wasn't aware that this was a problem. However, this same respect for consent should apply to foreskin amputation.

Vasectomy is non-therapeutic. But when you start talking about consent, you’re veering into the legal concept of capacity. Which infants don’t have. An infant can no sooner give consent for circumcision than he can for vasectomy.
